Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a faith-based family and loving, dedicated parents. He was the oldest of four children of the elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina the mother of the Oyakhilome family who imprinted her faith in God's grace upon her son from an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is a family effort. Reverend Ken the brother of Ken is the most revered pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church and a member on Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM) which is where numerous gospel artists are among the best-selling worldwide.

Pastor Chris has two children: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon follows in her father's tradition of sharing God's Word with the world. In addition, she is known as CSO as a singer, she is an award-winning, talented gospel artist and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his studies in Edo College. After a scholarship was awarded to study architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) and he was awarded a BSc degree in Architecture, and an honorary Doctor of Science. He also has an honorary doctorate in divinity awarded by the Benson Idahosa University. While attending Ambrose Ali University, he received a call from God to enter into the ministry and to be an obedient servant of the Lord.

The Man of God started what would become one of the biggest church congregations in the world when He was still at the university. He had a small prayer group called "Youth for Christ," that eventually grew into one of one of the most well-known organizations of its type on campus and would serve as the basis for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated with millions of followers around the world.

Under Pastor Chris's leadership, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television channel to be broadcast 24/7 from Africa through free-to-air networks. There are LoveWorld television stations on cable and satellite networks around the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris's homeland of Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. It also operates two Healing Schools located in South Africa, Canada and the US, where Pastor Chris is the instructor for seasonal sessions in which miracles are possible.

Music and Gospel Music form an integral element of worship. Pastor Chris is a strong advocate for Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry to train choirs. Many of these musicians can go on to be successful solo artists because of the guidance of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's inspiration and guidance.

The Future African Leaders Foundation, (FALF), is an organization that strives to continue the inspiring work of Pastor Chris. It is aimed at identifying and developing talented, young leaders and preparing them to lead for an exciting future by acknowledging and supporting their incredible achievements. Pastor Chris: Philanthropist
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation Internet (COFI) as an international non-profit organisation. The organization's goal is to assist the most vulnerable individuals and communities within certain countries and regions of poverty around the world.

The Man of God established NGOs to deliver vital services and hope to the needy, poor and uninformed. Five partners are part of COFI which works together to raise living standards in the most deprived areas.

The InnerCity Mission for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps(VMC), Traga Care International Foundation [TCIF], Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), and Bible For All Mission are all under COFI. Bible For All Mission, the Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), and COFI umbrella. Each of these groups strives to improve health, lives, and spirits, especially those who are most vulnerable.

The charity also provides food for children who are in need. Through COFI and The InnerCity Mission, Pastor Chris believes in supporting communities with strong foundations through promoting responsible leadership, good governance and sustainable development throughout Africa and in other areas of vulnerability in the world in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals. It's not difficult to allow Pastor Chris to serve as an ambassador for Christ with such a varied and effective ministry.
