RuneScape once upon a Time Flashback Storyline Out Now
RuneScape's year-long 20th-anniversary storyline continues with the launch of Once Upon A Time: Flashback and sees players relive the past of RuneScape in order to save the future of Gielinor.
In Flashback the storyline's antagonist Relomia is writing new quests and altering Gielinor's past so that major characters are dying. Players ally with the mysterious ghost Closure who's working with Death to journey to three classic RuneScape quests to correct the storylines and bring the characters back to life. Flashback is a quest that rewards players with a medium-sized XP lamp, a book by Closure, and a successful completion.
Flashback is the continuation to the Once Upon A Time miniquests. It will be available throughout the RuneScape's 20th anniversary year. It delivers adventures through the past and present of the legendary live gaming game.
Jagex has also announced that RuneScape The First 20 Years – An Illustrated History will be published by Dark Horse Books in autumn 2021 in celebration of the game's 20th anniversary. It will serve as the official companion volume to the game, offering players an unreleased look at the iconic online fantasy RPG as it is celebrating its 20th anniversary. A deluxe edition is also available only on the RuneScape Merch Store for diehard players who want to get something more.
