He is the eldest child of elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was a founder of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of the Oyakhilome families. She handed down her divine grace on her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry includes the entire family. Reverend Ken is his brother and the revered Pastor at Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church. He is also a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry which has a host of gospel top-selling artists.

Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene.
