Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a faith-based family and loving parents who were devoted to their children. He is the elder of three sons born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founding members of the Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her grace upon her son from the age of a child.
The LoveWorld ministry involves the whole family. His brother Reverend Ken (the revered pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is the home of several top-selling gospel musicians.
Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon has decided to follow in her father's footsteps of sharing the Gospel of God with the world Also known as CSO, she is a gifted, award-winning gospel singer and an active member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his studies at Edo College. Then he was granted a scholarship to pursue studies at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There was he obtained an BSc. in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds the recipient of an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was where the Lord called him to serve the Lord and go into ministry.

The Man Of God was in the University of Cambridge when he founded the church which would soon grow into one of largest in the world. His prayer group, called 'Youth for Christ' would eventually become one of the campus' most popular groups. These would go on to create LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.
Under Pastor Chris's leadership, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LoveWorldSAT broadcast the first Christian television station that reaches from Africa across the world of the world all the time via free-to-air networks. Today, LoveWorld television stations are accessible on satellite and cable networks around the world.
Christ Embassy has a strong presence throughout Pastor Chris's homeland of Nigeria. The church has two healing schools that are located in South Africa.
Music and Gospel Music are an important element of worship. Pastor Chris supports Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry choir to train. A lot of these singers are successful soloists under Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's supervision.

The Man of God established NGOs to deliver essential services and provide hope to the needy, poor and neglected. The five partners of COFI have the same aim: to raise living standards and improve the quality of life in poorest areas.
Under the auspices COFI is COFI's InnerCity Mission (ICM) for children, the Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations strives to improve health, lives and spirits for those in dire need.
The charity also provides financial aid to children who are in poverty. Pastor Chris believes in building communities through COFI and The InnerCity Mission.
