Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on the 7th of December th, 1963, in Edo State, Nigeria, was raised in a family that was a faith-based one, and was surrounded by loving and loving parents. He is the oldest of three sons born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founding members of the Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris's homeland of Nigeria in addition to South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. The ministry operates two Healing Schools located in South Africa. These schools are where Pastor Chris hosts sessions throughout the year that enable miraculous events to occur.

The Man of God founded NGOs to offer essential services and provide hope for the poor, in need and uninformed. COFI is a partnership with five other organizations who are all dedicated to raising living standards in some of the areas that are the least developed.

COFI's umbrella includes the InnerCity Mission ICM (ICM), the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation /TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation and the Bible For All Mission.
