Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a child of faith, who was raised by a loving family and supported by his parents. He is the son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies to God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. Her divine grace was passed on to her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is a collaboration between the entire family. Reverend Ken the brother of Ken is the beloved minister of Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church and a member on Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM), where several gospel artists are among the best-selling worldwide.

Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters: Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon, who is also referred to by CSO she has chosen to follow in the footsteps of her father, sharing the Gospel of God the world. She is a talented gospel artist, a Grammy-award winning singer and an active member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his education in Edo College. After a grant was made to study architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) He was awarded an BSc degree in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. He has an honorary divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was where he discovered his calling to serve the Lord and go into ministry.

The InnerCity Mission for Children The InnerCity Mission for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps(VMC), Traga Care International Foundation [TCIF], Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), and Bible For All Mission are all part of the COFI umbrella.
