Pastor Chris: The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He grew up in a religious family with loving, committed parents. He is the oldest son born to the elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina who is the mother of the Oyakhilome family, who imparted her faith in God's grace upon her son from a young age.
The LoveWorld ministry is a collaboration between the entire family. The Reverend brother of Ken (the revered Pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is home of several best-selling gospel musicians.
Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters: Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon, who is also known by CSO she has chosen to follow in the footsteps of her father by sharing the Word of God the world. She is a gifted, award-winning gospel singer and part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a student at Edo College and was awarded an award from Bendel State University to study architecture. He is also the recipient of an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University. While attending Ambrose Ali University, he was prompted by God to enter into the ministry and become an ambassador for the Lord.

The Man Of God was a student at University when he founded the church which would grow to be one of the largest in the world. His small prayer group, 'Youth for Christ' would eventually be one of the university's most well-known groups. The group would later to become LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.
Under the direction of Pastor Chris, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station broadcast out of Africa to the the world 24/7 all the time on free-to-air channels. There are LoveWorld satellite and cable television stations around the world.
Christ Embassy is present in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria as well as South Africa. It also has strong representations in the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, and South Africa. It also operates two Healing Schools located in South Africa, Canada and the United States, where Pastor Chris is the instructor for seasonal sessions where miracles are possible.
Music and Gospel Music are integral parts of worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry to train choirs. Many of these singers develop into successful solo artists through Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's spirit and guidance.
The Future African Leaders Foundation, (FALF), is a non-profit organization that aims to continue the work of Pastor Chris. It's focused on developing and recognizing the next generation of leaders and training them to be successful in the years to come. Pastor Chris invests in the future of our youth to ensure that they can be tomorrow's leaders.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, a fervent philanthropist and founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation international (COFI) COFI, which is a non-profit nonprofit organization that has the mission of helping the most vulnerable individuals as well as communities within the most deprived countries and regions across the globe.
The Man, God, has founded NGOs with the mission to provide vital assistance and hope. COFI has five partners that have a common goal of raising living standards in some of the poorest areas.
COFI supervises the InnerCity Mission, ICM for Children The Volunteer Medical Corps and Trauma International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation , and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organisations works to improve people's lives and health, well-being and overall well-being.
The charity also offers assistance for children who are in need. Pastor Chris believes in the development of strong communities through the encouragement of responsible governance and accountability in leadership. As per the Sustainable Development Goals, Pastor Chris is also a proponent of sustainable development in Africa and other regions of Africa through COFI.
