Chris: The Pastor Chris"The" Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963 in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a family of faith with loving, dedicated parents. He is the eldest of three sons who was born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her grace to her son at an early age.
The whole family is actively involved with the LoveWorld ministry. Reverend Ken is his brother and the revered Pastor at Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church. He is also a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry, which houses a number of top gospel artists.
Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon has chosen to follow in her father's footsteps of sharing the Word of God with the world Also known as CSO, she is a talented gospel singer who has won awards and is a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome attended Edo College before winning a scholarship to pursue a degree in architecture at Bendel State University, known today as Ambrose Ali University, where he obtained a BSc in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science award. He has also been awarded an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. It was Ambrose Ali University when he received his call from God to become a minister and serving the Lord.

The Man Of God was a student at University when He founded the church that would eventually grow to become one of the largest in the world. His prayer group, 'Youth For Christ', would quickly be one of the university's most well-known groups. These would go on to create LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.
Under Pastor Chris's leadership, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LoveWorldSAT broadcast the first Christian television station from Africa across the world of the world 24/7 via free-toair networks. There are currently LoveWorld television stations that are available on satellite and cable networks across the globe.
Christ Embassy is present in Pastor Chris's native Nigeria as well as South Africa. It also has strong representation in the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, and South Africa. The church has two healing schools, which are based in South Africa.
Music and Gospel Music play an integral part to worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches have a choir that is supervised and trained by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. A lot of the singers have successful solo career.

The Man, God, has created a number of NGOs with the aim to offer vital aid and provide hope. COFI has five partners that have all committed to improving living standards in some of the areas that are the least developed.
COFI oversees the InnerCity Mission, ICM for Children The Volunteer Medical Corps and Trauma International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation , and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these groups strives to enhance the health and lives of those in greatest need.
His foundation offers food and shelter to those in need. Pastor Chris believes in the development of strong communities by promoting good governance and accountable leadership.
