Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on December 7 th, 1963 in Edo State, Nigeria, was raised in a household of faith, surrounded by loving and devoted parents. He is the oldest son of elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was a founder of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of the Oyakhilome families. She handed down her divine grace onto her son at an early stage.
The LoveWorld ministry is actively supported by all members of the family. Reverend Ken, his brother, is the revered pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church and a member on Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM), where several gospel artists are among the best-selling worldwide.
Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon has decided to follow her father's example of sharing the Gospel of God with the world, also known as CSO, she is a talented, award-winning gospel singer and member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a student at Edo College and was awarded a scholarship by Bendel State University to study architecture. He also has an honorary doctorate in divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. While at Ambrose Ali University, he was prompted by God to enter into the ministry and become an ambassador for the Lord.

The Man Of God was an undergraduate student at the time he founded the church which would eventually grow to become one of largest worldwide. His prayer group, called 'Youth for Christ' would eventually become one of the campus' most popular groups. These would go on to form LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.
Pastor Chris led the LoveWorld ministry to become the pioneer of satellite TV and Christian production of television. LOVEWORLDSAT was first Christian television station broadcasting out of Africa throughout the day on free-to air channels. There are currently LoveWorld television stations that are available on satellite and cable networks across the world.
Christ Embassy is present in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria as well as South Africa. It also has strong representations across the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, and South Africa. It also operates two Healing Schools in South Africa, Canada and the United States, where Pastor Chris runs sessions throughout the year, where miracles are possible.

The Man of God established NGOs to deliver vital services and hope to the poor, needy and neglected. COFI is a partnership of five that are committed to improving the living conditions in some the most neglected areas.
COFI manages the InnerCity Mission, ICM for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps and Trauma International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation , and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations strives to improve people's lives as well as their health, spirits, and well-being.
His charity also provides sustenance to indigent children. Pastor Chris believes in strengthening communities through COFI and The InnerCity Mission.
