Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th 1963 in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a religious family with loving and dedicated parents. He is the oldest of three sons born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her grace on her son from an early age.
The LoveWorld ministry includes the entire family. Reverend Ken is his brother and is the revered pastor at Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church. He is also a part of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry, which is home several top-selling gospel artists.
Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters, Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon follows in in her father's example of sharing God's Word with the World. As well as being known by CSO as a singer, she is an award-winning, talented gospel artist and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome attended Edo College before winning a scholarship to pursue a degree in architecture at Bendel State University, known now as Ambrose Ali University, where he obtained a BSc in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science award. He has also been awarded an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. While at Ambrose Ali University, he got his calling from God to join the ministry and become an obedient servant of the Lord.

Pastor Chris directed the LoveWorld ministry to become the pioneer of satellite television and Christian production and programming on television. LoveWorldSAT broadcast the first Christian television station from Africa to the rest of the world, 24/7 via free-toair networks. Today, there are LoveWorld television stations available across satellite and cable networks across the globe.
Christ Embassy has a strong presence throughout Pastor Chris's homeland of Nigeria. The ministry operates two Healing Schools that are located in South Africa. These schools are where Pastor Chris hosts sessions throughout the year which allow miraculous events to occur.

The Man, God, has established a variety of non-profit organizations with the goal to provide vital assistance and hope. The five partners of COFI have the same objective: to improve living standards and enhance the quality of life in poorest regions.
COFI's umbrella encompasses the InnerCity Mission ICM (ICM), the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation /TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations works to enhance the lives of individuals as well as their health, spirits and wellbeing.
