Pastor of faith, faith healer TV host, author, Chris Oyakhilome who is referred to by his fans as Pastor Chris, is the president and founder of LoveWorld Incorporated, also called Christ Embassy, based in Lagos, Nigeria. His unique and inspiring telling of God's Word has inspired millions all over the world.
Pastor Chris The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963 in Edo State in Nigeria. He grew up in a family of faith with loving, committed parents. He is the oldest son of elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was the pioneer of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of Oyakhilome families, who passed her divine grace onto her son at an early age.
The whole family is actively involved in the LoveWorld ministry. Reverend Ken is his brother and the revered pastor at Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church. He is also a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry which is home several top-selling gospel artists.
Pastor Chris has two children: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon chose to follow her father's lead of sharing God's Word to the world. Also known as CSO (Community Service Organization), she is a gifted gospel singer and a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his studies at Edo College. Then he was granted a scholarship to go to Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There was he obtained an BSc. in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honourary doctorate degree in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was where he found his calling to serve the Lord and to be a minister.

The Man of God, while still a student at university started what would eventually become one of the most significant churches in the world. A small group of prayer named Youth for Christ’ was established. It would develop to become one of the largest and most well-known institutions on campus. LoveWorld Incorporated would follow millions with the founding of Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated.
Pastor Chris was the leader of the LoveWorld ministry to become a pioneer in satellite TV and Christian production of television. LOVEWORLDSAT was the first Christian television station broadcasting out of Africa 24/7 on free-to-air channels. There are LoveWorld satellite and cable television stations all over the world.
Christ Embassy has a strong presence throughout Pastor Chris's native Nigeria. The ministry also runs two Healing School located in South Africa, Canada and the US, where Pastor Chris is the instructor for seasonal sessions where miracles can be achieved.
Music and Gospel Music are an important aspect of the worship. Pastor Chris is adamant Christ Embassy Churches that a choir be taught by Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. Many of these vocal talents will go on to have great solo careers under the direction of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.
The Future African Leaders Foundation focuses its efforts on advancing the work of Pastor Chris. It's aimed at developing and recognizing young leaders, and helping them become successful in the future. Pastor Chris invests in the youth today, to prepare them to be the future leaders.

A committed philanthropist, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International (COFI) COFI, Non-profit, non-governmental, non-profit organization with the aim of helping the most vulnerable individuals and communities in some of the most deprived regions and countries in the world.
In addition to proclaiming the gospel, the Man of God also founded a number of NGOs that have the mission of providing essential aid and hope to the poor, needy, or forgotten. COFI has five partners who support it, each of whom are dedicated to improving living standards in remote areas.
COFI is the responsible organization for the InnerCity Mission ICM for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC, Traumacare International Foundation TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) in addition to the Bible For All Mission. Each of these groups works to improve the lives, health and well-being of those most in need.
The charity also offers assistance for children who are in need. Pastor Chris believes that strong foundations of community are supported by COFI and The InnerCity Mission. This helps to promote accountability leadership and good governance. It also promotes sustainable development in Africa and other vulnerable areas of the world, in accordance to the Sustainable Development Goals.
