I am uncertain how many reviews I will be doing on this blog site. I think it depends a little on whether I get any feedback from it and people seem interested in them. I suppose there are a lot of people doing evaluations currently. Find Out More Here got this deck and as it was launched in April 2018, I thought why not.
The first one was launched in 2015 and is called the Thelema Tarot (it has nothing to do with Aleister Crowley's religion. It's similar in name only. It doesn't even follow Crowley's swaps for the Thoth deck). The Arcanum was recently released in 2018 and a 3rd deck called the "Centuries Thot Tarot" is due to be launched either in 2019 or 2020.
The review is suggested for the Arcanum Tarot, but the majority of what I state here will apply for the Thelema Tarot as well. I do not know anything about Renata Lechner or any of her concepts around the tarot, so this review will be based upon how I experience the deck and my own tarot knowledge.
It is absolutely a good upgrade from a lot of other decks which only get a simple box. This box offers some additional security for the cards and it looks rather good too. It likewise comes with a little color-printed booklet with brief significances of the card meanings composed by Jaymi Elford.
I don't discover it detailed adequate to be of any particular interest, however might be of usage if you need to be directed to what you see on the images. The art work was what brought the Thelema tarot to my attention and the Arcanum tarot continues the trilogy in a similar design.
Both are borderless with the title of the card nicely positioned at the bottom of the card. and have abundant colorful design with practically photo realistic images. The cardback has a good style, but I don't believe it is indicated to signify anything in specific. I believe it is just a dream style that looks quite cool.
