61x51 huge box used to sell- under an inch at 100 backyards. Had a 7mm Mag with comparable precision. May need to upgrade, now that they make a stock that minimizes noise when you shoot, and the recoil minimizing recoil lug;) Accurate. Light weight. Out of the box, the gun is extremely precise.
There is very little felt recoil and fun to shoot when you can be so accurate right now. I would buy once again and advise for anyone considering this purchase. In the lite variation I would only shoot the mag (3 shots) and after that wait while sighting in. The weight cost savings of the thinner barrel is well worth it.
Amazing Tack driver This gun is a tack chauffeur. It shoots amazing. I am not the worlds best shot and even I can shoot this gun excellent shot after shot. I really love it. I would advise to anyone. The brand-new basic Best out of package rifle I have actually ever purchased and I have actually bought numerous! Every Tikka old and brand-new has shot sub moa with any quality factory ammo.
These rifles have established an outstanding credibility, I just see aftermarket assistance increasing and honestly won't be shocked if the T3X dismisses the Remington 700. T3x Lite (. 270 Winchester) I bought this gun on sale and still lost money. A Reliable Source shot on a cold bore is a laser beam.
After that, it's anybody's guess where the next round will go. I fired: Winchester Power-Point, 150 grain, 2850 fps. Federal Combination, 130 grain, 3050 fps, Hornady American Whitetail, 130 grain, 3060 fps. Hornady Precision Hunter, 145 grain, 2970 fps. Hornady Superformance, 140 grain, 3090 fps. All behaved precisely the same. The very first shot is the only trusted shot.
The scope did not get lose and the action is properly torqued. I simply do not get it. The gun simply cant handle any heat at all. If I sit 15 minutes in between shots, it fires sub MOA. If I don't wait ... 3" group ... 4" group ... So, I guess if I don't pull a bang/flop, then it's going to be a long day.
