The LoveWorld ministry is a family effort. Reverend Ken is his brother. He is the beloved pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM), where numerous gospel artists are among the top-selling in the world.

Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon has chosen the path of her father of sharing the gospel of God to the world. Also known as CSO, she is a Grammy-winning gospel artist and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his education at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship to pursue studies at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There was he obtained an BSc. in Architecture, as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. While at Ambrose Ali University, he received a call from God to join the ministry and to be a servant to the Lord.

When he was still in the university, The Man of God created what would become one of the largest churches worldwide. He established an unassuming prayer group dubbed "Youth for Christ" that would eventually develop into the most renowned organization of its kind on campus. It would also serve as the foundation for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated which has millions of followers across the globe.

LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station that broadcast out of Africa to the the world 24/7 continuously on free-to air networks. There are LoveWorld satellite and cable television stations around the world.

Christ Embassy is present in Pastor Chris's native Nigeria and South Africa. It also has strong representations in the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, and South Africa. The ministry has two Healing Schools that are located in South Africa and Canada, where Pastor Chris organizes seasonal sessions during which miracles are performed.

Music and Gospel Music form an integral element of worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches that a choir be trained through Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. A lot of these singing talents go on to have successful solo careers under the guidance of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

The Future African Leaders Foundation concentrates its efforts on the ongoing ministry of Pastor Chris. Its mission is to acknowledge and celebrate the incredible accomplishments of talented, young leaders. Pastor Chris invests in the young people of today so they can be the leaders of tomorrow.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is an ardent charity-minded person who founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation international (COFI) COFI, which is a non-profit, nonprofit organization that has as its mission to assist the most vulnerable people as well as communities within the most deprived countries and regions across the world.

Apart from preaching the Gospel message the Man Of God has also established a number of NGOs that provide vital services and hope for the most vulnerable and marginalized people. COFI's five partners all have a common objective: to improve living standards and enhance the quality of life in the poorest areas.

COFI's umbrella encompasses the InnerCity Mission ICM (ICM), the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation /TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these groups works to enhance the health and lives of those who are most in need.

His charity also provides sustenance to children in need. Pastor Chris believes in the development of strong communities by encouraging good governance and accountable leadership. In accordance with The Sustainable Development Goals, Pastor Chris also promotes sustainable development in Africa as well as other vulnerable regions of Africa through COFI.
