A new version of Minecraft on the Nintendo Switch, named simply Minecraft, was released both physically and digitally on June 21 the 21st of June, 2018. The updated version is compatible with other platforms, including Android, iOS, iPadOS, Fire, Windows, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 that share the same codebase referred to as "Bedrock" (originated from Minecraft: Pocket Edition). Players who bought the Nintendo Switch port can have an option to upgrade to the latest version for no cost.

Minecraft: Wii U Edition was removed after the final update in the year 2018. It was also discontinued along with other consoles from the past with the exception of PS4. [88 Minecraft - New Nintendo 3DS Edition was also canceled on January 15 2019. [9]

Minecraft 1.20: Release Date, New Features, Update, Download WRUniverse:

The 1.20 update for Minecraft from Mojang Studios will include a number of new features, mobs and biomes.

The release date of Minecraft 1.20 could be announced by the Minecraft creators at the end of this year, however, some reliable sources claim that it will be released in January 2023. Since a lot of the minor additions that were shown in Minecraft 1.20 could be smaller than its predecessors, it is possible that it will be less popular. None of the trailers gave any hint as to what biomes would be altered or if new ones would be added.

It is hard to know which regions will receive the most attention without knowing the update's name in particular, as the archaeology promised but not yet delivered features of Minecraft version 1.20 have not been mentioned in any of the 1.20 news so far. Many are concerned that these features could be removed due to this.

It's possible that more details regarding the biome modifications will become public in the upcoming months since the Minecraft Live announcement essentially served as a teaser for what's to come.

Locating .minecraft[]

Locating the .minecraft folder is essential in the installation of a resource pack or locating any made screenshots.

The Windows location in the table above only the default location. Launchers can change the .minecraft at any path.

These steps will help you find your appdata folder if you are a Windows user.

1. Click Start to run. If you don't see "Run" Press Windows + R. 2. Type %APPDATA%\.minecraft and click "OK". If you're a Mac user, you can access the folder via Spotlight:

1. Open Finder, and then press Shift + Command + G to open the Spotlight popup by clicking the magnifying glass icon on the right of the Menu Bar. 2. Type ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft and hit | Enter.


Linux and macOS use in their paths to refer to the home directory. Folders that begin with . are automatically hidden. Ctrl +H toggles the status of hidden files in most file managers. You can force the use of a resource package by naming the zip file resources.zip and putting the file in the root folder for the world to save. This feature is only accessible to single-player players. 2: Servers may request clients or force them to use server resource packs in another manner.

Windows 10 Edition Open the Windows game bar by pressing the Windows button and G simultaneously, then click the camera icon to take a screenshot. Hold the Windows button, Alt and Prtscn together to take a screenshot straightaway.

George Duke-Cohan from Watford also sent mass emails to schools in the UK and US claiming pipe bombs were planted on their premises . the investigation was ongoing.

Yesterday, he was found guilty of making threats to detonate bombs against schools across the country and a United Airlines flight from the UK to San Francisco.

He was arrested in his bedroom at the home of his family in Watford.

After making hoax phone calls, George Duke-Cohan was arrested and taken into custody for the third and final time. He claimed that an aircraft was taken over by gunmen.

Today's audio release features George Duke-Cohan posing as a worried father whose daughter told him her flight was hijacked by gunmen, one of whom has a bomb.

He can be heard complaining and expressing frustration over not receiving an update on the hijacking.

The teenager from Hertfordshire pleaded guilty three times to hoax-bomb threats.

In March, following threats made hundreds of schools across the UK were evacuated. Duke-Cohan was arrested a few days later.

He claimed that bombs were placed in American and British schools when he was being investigated in April.

The fake bomb threats were discovered at the time as part of an Minecraft gamer rivalry.

Threatening emails were spoofed to appear as if they had been sent by a gaming site known as VeltPvP - the name of a Minecraft player-versus-player server.

Schools across the UK received as many as 24,000 emails, including those in London, Bristol, and Humberside.

While being held on bail for threats to schools, Duke-Cohan contacted San Francisco Airport and their police officers to claim an explosive was on board.

Hacker group Apophis Squad claimed that flight UAL 949 was grounded because of their actions in a tweet in August.

Duke-Cohan pretended he was a worried father when calling the airport. He claimed that his daughter was on the flight.

Staff were informed by him that his daughter had called him to inform him that gunmen had taken over the plane and that one of them was carrying an explosive.

Bishopsalt School in Uxbridge was one of the 400 that was evacuated because of the bomb hoaxes that occurred this year.

After being threatened, the evacuation of 400 schools of Selly Park Technology College for Girls (pictured) took place in Birmingham.

Fairholme Primary School, Feltham, west London The school informed parents that they would be closing earlier this year due to the threat.

Walsall College (pictured above) was also evacuated due to bomb hoaxes earlier in the year.

When it landed in San Francisco the plane was detained by security personnel. The 295 passengers were then told to remain on board.

The investigation halted the plane, disrupting other scheduled flights at the airport.

The basic firework rocket isn't something to write home about but with the use of firework stars and dyes you can create a stunning display to wow everyone on your Minecraft server. And the numerous combinations available can create 10.8 duovigintillion possibilities of unique fireworks.

There's no need to spend resources experimenting; we're here to explain everything you need to know and you can follow our recipe for fireworks to create the exploding rockets that you've always dreamed of.

How to craft Minecraft fireworks

To make a firework rocket, you need - at a minimum, one piece of paper and one gunpowder. To boost the speed of the rocket's flight you can add two gunpowders - this is how far the rocket can fly.

However, if you want the beautiful explosion effects, you'll need to add the firework star. The creation of the firework star is where you get to customise the firework's explosion. Combine gunpowder with up to eight dyes to create a firework star. To create a twinkle effect and/or an effect of trailing after an explosion, you can add glowstone dust or diamond. Both of these effects can be added to the same star.

You can also customize the firework explosion's shape. Adding a fire charge will produce a massive circular explosion; a gold nugget will create an explosion with a star shape and a head of any type will produce an explosion in the form of a creeper's face, and a feather will produce an explosion with a burst shape. Only one of these shape modifiers can be used in the shape of a firework star.

After you have created your star You can add a "fade-to colour" effect by mixing any colour with it.

How do you create an Minecraft firework display

You may be wondering how to start fireworks to create the most spectacular show. You can use a firework to light up a block. But if you're looking to be precise and let the fireworks start firing from a safe distance, then you will need to place your fireworks in dispensers. Redstone activates the fireworks. They'll shoot in the direction they're fired, however you can create diagonal paths by firing them through flowing water. Using Minecraft fireworks in conjunction with Elytra

Elytra allows you to fly in fireworks. This is an excellent way to propel yourself into the air. The amount of gunpowder used for rockets will influence the duration of the boost.

Crucially, you'll want to not include the firework star when making fireworks to be used for this purpose, since the explosion effects that they produce can cause damage to your property. Ouch. You won't have to be concerned about getting your rockets mixed up. You can happily zoom through space, exploring the far areas of your Minecraft seed. Just make sure you've packed enough fireworks for your return journey.

Hundreds of players have been part of a funeral procession in the game online Final Fantasy after coronavirus killed one of their main players

Final Fantasy is a Japanese science fiction franchise that focuses on a series role-playing videogames. It is among the most popular video game franchises in the market.

The players were also joined by others who knew Ferne's player as an alternate character named Poppy Rose on the Coeur server.

The group, which appeared to be in the hundreds, was attired only in dark, funeral-appropriate attire.

The procession began in the middle of the night, and travelled across various lands as the sun came up including the forested areas of the Central Shroud, to the north of the desert. The journey took around half an hour.

The procession ended under the Guardian Tree, a holy place in the woods.

The game's Twitter community took to social media to share their surprise at how many participated in the procession.

One wrote: "The #FFXIV family never ceases to amaze me. Such a huge turnout and show of respect, camaraderie and community at this memorial ceremony. My view distance couldn't handle the sheer number of people! May the fallen player rest in peace. My condolences go out to everyone who were involved. Be safe, everybody!'

The group, which appeared to be in the hundreds, was dressed primarily only in dark, funeral-appropriate attire.

Another participant stated, "This was my first experience of this kind." There were people there who played 2-3 zones of base game, which are large in general. Many attended to offer their condolences to their fellow adventurers, their friends and families.'

The Final Fantasy funeral procession comes roughly one month after an assemblage of Japanese schoolchildren held their graduation ceremony in Minecraft after concerns about coronavirus resulted in the cancelation of the ceremony held on campus.

Angry parents of Minecraft gamers have taken to social media to complain about "awful" queues and a lack to do at an unofficial convention.

On Saturday, approximately 4,100 people attended MineVention at Peterborough Arena to meet stars and take part in games.

However, dozens of people said they had to wait for hours to see idols or eat food and demanded refunds.

Organiser Lisa O'Brien said the queues were long, and she'll issue a statement about refunds in the near future.

The event is not affiliated with Minecraft developer Mojang and was started in Ireland. It was the first time it was held in the UK.

Fans of Minecraft the world-wide gaming phenomenon, had the opportunity to meet "Youtubers", take photos and play games.

The event was hosted by Jason Bradbury, TV's Gadget Show host, and urged participants to dress as Steve the game's protagonist to attempt a world record.

However, it was later under fire on social media with people complaining of long queues, a absence of food and merchandise stalls and activities for fans.

Vicky Abraham shared on Facebook that she had waited with her five-year old son for more than an hour and only 30 seconds on the computer.

Another parent reported waiting 45 minutes for a bottle of water and said the experience was "appalling" with "naff-all to do". Another person contacted the BBC to say they left after a half-hour as the queues were so bad, and her son was "crying all the way to home".

Some people posted on Facebook that they were happy with the event, with one of them said: "I thought your event was great for PS15."

Lisa O'Brien of O'Brien Event Management said she felt with parents as we all have children. Due to the huge number of people that showed at the event, rather than purchasing tickets in advance, lines were 45 minutes long, she said.

She claimed that the event was unprecedented in its size and that some official merchandise didn't arrive in time for the event to begin.

She said that organisers had "taken into consideration all comments and suggestions" and were scheduled to meet to work out what went wrong, and that a further statement would be issued on Monday evening.
