YouTuber Yunatahel who makes many World of Warcraft videos, is also re-creating Stormwind from the MMO game Minecraft. Stormwind also referred to as Stormwing City, is the capital city of the region known as Stormwind and is the largest human city in Azeroth. It's named so because of sudden squalls of wind that occur due to a leyline design around the city.

While this Minecraft project is still in the works The video shows a stunning level of detail and workmanship and admiration for the materials used. Each building is adorned with a stunning tiled roof. The cobbled pathways appear like they're real. The lighting effects add an extra dimension to the area. A bevy of waterways, shops and churches litter the area, and we can't wait to explore it.

It's so impressive that even the official Blizzard account for Warcraft in French has complimented it, saying that it "can't wait to see the final product."

There's no word on a release date for the map at this point however we'd highly recommend following Yunatahel's Instagram and YouTube accounts if you'd be interested in exploring the area when it's done. We'd also wager it wouldn't be too long until modders could add in quests however we're going ahead a bit.

Reddit user Dinaeh has posted progress photos of the topography of the map. It's very similar to the original. The map is being constructed using the WorldPainter tool at a 1:1 scale and Dineah is planning to collaborate with other creators on the creation of shrines and ruins that will populate the map. Also it is planned to be released in the near future.

Dineah has posted some detailed photos of both the Gerudo Highlands and Hebra Mountains, and the latter in particular is instantly identifiable. That little grassy clearing ahead of the huge snowy climb towards the confrontation with Naydra made a huge impression in Breath of the Wild, and it looks just as cool in this photo, as you can see in the picture above.

Building the (Minecraft) lost city of Babylon

Regular reports hit my radar of the amazing work being undertaken by global kids as they gain knowledge, as well as knowledgeable about their gaming activities. Many kids, supported by experienced elders (parents and peers) are engaging in this incredible platform. Teachers are helping their students to achieve amazing things.

This beautiful Minecraft build - Babylon in a brand new world for our children's futures - is simply amazing! When I say amazing, I don't mean just building in a gaming environment! I'm talking about engaging in communication and literacy; digital citizenship and story telling and above all, in the realm of creativity and global cultural. It takes effort on the part of adults to support students in this manner.

Minecraft in the classroom is a growing phenomenon. People are jumping onboard to integrate Minecraft into their school's learning culture. Minecraft is turning into a minefield in the world of grown-ups, consultant warning. It is therefore crucial to connect with high-quality users who have a deep understanding of best practices in Minecraft and not with consultants.

The year's Minecraft experience was truly amazing. The teamwork, the efforts and the creative thinking I witnessed were truly remarkable. In the class, I had the opportunity to socialize with kids that share the same interests as I have, building friendships throughout the year. Cooperation was the biggest highlight; When there was ridiculous number of mobs, and a high death count we sheltered and shared our supplies. If someone needed help in making or building something, it was always satisfying to teach them how to build or create it. I have also learned more about how important it is to show myself online and how I present myself. Your first impression is everything. If you're acting as an online tool people will come across you and think: "Wow, that person seems stupid and rude" And that would be the last time they visit your website/severor profile.

She reminded us that Minecraft is a shared experience as are the many stages of learning involved in gaining Minecraft experience. Donelle is a leader in the world and will soon be visiting Tasmania as a Hardie Fellow (Info re Hardie Fellowship recipients 2013-14).

Donelle also reminded of Jo Kay's incredible work, who I have worked closely with throughout the years on a variety of projects. Jo currently assists and develops our work in the Master of Education, Knowledge Networks and Digital Innovation degree here at CSU. We do not use the typical LMS however, we have created our own to support the degree for now.

ProjectMIST is very fortunate to have a person who has been there for us from the beginning and is always there even at 12:00 am. Jo Kay is there to support the students when I'm not. Students appreciate her support and have created replicas of her avatars on their own servers. One young man did this last night after he locked himself out of his server. The student was accepted to the Massively @ Jokaydia Minecraft Guild. He is eager to build, learn and explore with fellow players from all over the world.

Massively @ Jokaydia is a excellent place to go if you are an educator, parent, or just are looking to try Minecraft a try.

The Massively @ jokaydia Website - a community that is supported by jokaydia.com – provides parents and kids with gaming-based spaces where they can collaborate, learn and play!

The project is designed for children aged 4-16 years old who are interested in developing digital media abilities, exploring their creativity and developing online social skills. I recently started looking for something different to play so I decided to try Minecraft an attempt. I had heard a lot of positive reviews about the sandbox type of gameplay in Minecraft, it convinced me that it would be a good change in my gaming.

So I installed Minecraft and thought at first... Oh my god, what had I done. Although the graphics aren't terrible, they are close. And before I knew it, I was playing for hours and completely enjoying the game. Minecraft really grabbed me and inspired me to play even more.

I eventually began looking for more challenging challenges in Minecraft to continue enjoying it. I was pleasantly surprised by how many of the creations made it appear like there was more to it than I initially thought.

I was able to find the Survival Island Minecraft map. This was exactly what I was looking for, particularly since I am a big fan of the castaway. So I eagerly installed the map and started playing Minecraft I was ecstatic.

After loading into Minecraft and then the map I though what am I going to survive here, I guess this is the reason.

The island consists of a tiny base of sand, a bit of dirt and a large tree (from what I can remember). I did experience a sense of anxiety that I did not experience before in Minecraft All I could think about was "I must make it through."

After a few more hours of gaming, I was fully immersed in the Minecraft Survival Island way. I had underground tree farms and automated cactus farms bonemeal seeds, and lots of other stuff going on I felt great.

Then suddenly it was disaster! I had mined in the wrong direction, and I opened the water in my underground cavern, oh dear.

I quickly sealed the leak with a bit of dirt and then blocked it slightly more with dirt so that I could ensure that I wouldn't repeat the same mistake.

I strongly recommend playing the Minecraft Survival Island map as it gives a real edge of excitement that you can't get from playing in a normal way. You feel slightly anxious and nervous about what's in store.

Technoblade, a YouTube personality that gained millions of followers with his humorous comments on videos of him playing Minecraft, has passed away, his father announced via a video uploaded to his son's YouTube account.

Technoblade's Minecraft gameplay was watched by more than 11 million users. He provided commentary on camera. While he usually focused on the action in the game, in some videos, he described things that are as routine as visiting the D.M.V. Or as devastating as a cancer diagnosis.

A video entitled "so long nerds" that was uploaded to Technoblade's YouTube channel on Thursday and has been watched more than 26 million times as of Friday afternoon, was a departure from the channel's typical style of colorful bricks that are pixelated. Instead the man who identified himself as Technoblade's father appears in a chair with a stark white background with a small white dog in his lap.

His father, who doesn't reveal his name is reading a message from his son that begins: "Hello, everyone. Technoblade is here. You can see me dead in this video if you're watching it.

The message continues to reveal Technoblade’s first name, Alex. He didn’t use it online. A few photos of Alex and his family are also included in the video. He rarely showed himself in YouTube videos and preferred to present himself as a crowned sword-wielding porcine avatar.

"If I had another hundred lives I'm sure I'd choose to be Technoblade again every single time," Alex's letter says. "Those were the most joyful years of my entire life."

His father, who is emotional throughout the video, says that he and his son argued for months about whether or not to make the final video. His father claims that Alex wrote the letter and died eight hours later.

"I don't think he's was able to say everything he wanted say, but I think he was able to get the most important points," he says.

The video ends with a letter that Alex's mother (who isn't identified) wrote. She wrote that her son avoided personal fame and was self-deprecating, even as his channel grew in popularity.

"From Technoblade's earliest online days, he was always strategizing ways to delight and reward his followers by giving away prizes online, encouraging good sportsmanship and, most importantly sharing his Minecraft adventures for fun and entertainment," she wrote.

Alex's family was not able to contact him on Friday. Hypixel, a gaming company that collaborated with Technoblade and Alex's family, confirmed that the family requested that inquiries for comment not be forwarded to them. "The video they posted contains all information they are confident about sharing at this point," Don Pireso, the chief administrator of the company, said in a Twitter direct message.

Alex first made public his diagnosis of cancer in a video that was posted on his channel in August. Like the others the video, it showed the game while he was speaking off camera. He retained his self-deprecating, humorous style, refusing to get too earnest. He also revealed his age at the time, 22.

In the video, he explained how the first round of chemotherapy left him exhausted to the point that he couldn't even get up to make a virtual appointment with a doctor. Then the comedian joked: "Sitting in a chair, am I Superman?"

He said he was diagnosed after experiencing serious pain in his arm. Although he initially dismissed the pain as a result of repetitive stress from playing video games, he later admitted that his shoulder was swelling up after several days of rest.

He also urged people to take the Covid-19 vaccine. He claimed that his cancer treatments have weakened his immune system, which made him more prone to serious illness caused by the coronavirus.

"I'm going to try and speak on behalf of all cancer patients when I say it is extremely annoying that hospitals are overloaded with patients dying from preventable diseases," he said in the video. "I'm just saying that we should have the right to have priority over those hospital beds.

Technoblade's fans, friends, and followers on social media have praised him for his humor, as well as his role as an example for Minecraft players.

Minecraft is different than other games in that its owner, Microsoft does not have control over the servers on which players can meet online. Instead, players are able to create their own servers and join others to form a vast network of worlds within the Minecraft universe.

Hypixel who manages a network of Minecraft servers, announced that it had created a digital book in which users could write messages, and they would be printed and sent out to Technoblade's family and friends. The tribute included a photo of Technoblade's pig avatar, as sculpture. "In many ways the success of many of us is dependent on Technoblade's success. Technoblade," the company said.

1. Collect fossils: Once have an extraction tool, head to the Amber Mines and the Dig Site. If you find a fossil, or amber, use the extraction tool to destroy it and collect the DNA sample. 2. Go to the Lab. When the Station 1 scientist tells you they have unlimited quantities of the fossil you just collected, head over to Station 2 to collect the fossils. Take the three different colors vials. Place the red, green, and blue vials at the bottom of the extractor, and your DNA material on the top and wait for the process to be completed. 3. To get an embryo, you need three vials of red and two green vials and one blue vial. Put your DNA and your different vials into the machine's crafting area and receive your embryo. Not all dinosaurs require six vials. However some dinosaurs from the past may require different vials. 4. Go to the next station to give your embryo an eggshell. They already have eggs of ostrich ready. Place your embryo in the top slot, and wait for results. 5. Now you have an egg that can hatch in the test area, sedated and placed in an enclosure you prefer.

The Mosasaurus isn't an actual mob in the game, but it is a model that can be spawned in with an arbitrary string of code. The creature swims in circles before eventually eating sharks. The feeding machine spawns the creature. The Mosasaurus isn't a mob, and it won't harm you. If you dig straight down in the Control Room, the player will find a huge testing area that is made of bedrock beneath the ground that can only be accessed when in creative mode.
